OKX perpetual swap PnL explained
OKX realized PnL already includes fees and funding. The traps are elsewhere: sizes in contracts and coin-margined swaps that pay out in BTC, not dollars.
What realized PnL includes
For a closed swap position OKX reports realized PnL as the sum of the price PnL, trading fees, funding fees, a liquidation penalty if there was one, and settled PnL. In other words, it is net — fees and funding are already inside.
Contracts, not coins
OKX sizes are in contracts. One BTC-USDT-SWAP contract is a fraction of a coin (the contract value differs per instrument). To compare a position with another exchange, multiply the number of contracts by the contract value — otherwise “10” on OKX and “10” elsewhere mean very different sizes.
Coin-margined swaps
On coin-margined swaps (like BTC-USD-SWAP) PnL and fees are paid in the coin itself. 0.0005 BTC of profit is not $0.0005 — convert at the price of closing to see the dollar value. Mixing coin and USDT results without conversion is a common reason for strange totals.

How long OKX keeps history
Position history through the API covers roughly the last three months. Older trades can no longer be loaded from the exchange, so save them while they are available.
OKX in CheckMyProfit
Connect OKX with a read API key and its passphrase. Trades load with realized PnL; contracts are converted to coins, and coin-margined results are converted to dollars at the closing price. Trades you have already loaded stay in the journal after OKX stops returning them.
