Binance trading journal
CheckMyProfit loads your Binance USDT-M futures trades through an API key and turns them into a journal: every trade with its chart, a result that matches Binance, fees, funding and analytics that show where your result comes from.
What CheckMyProfit imports from Binance
- About a year of history on the first sync, then only new trades.
- PnL as Binance counts it: realized PnL, trading fees and funding from your account’s income history are added up per trade — the result matches the realized PnL in your Binance account.
- Liquidation fees are counted too, so a liquidated trade shows the real loss.
- Entry and exit prices rebuilt from your trade history, including positions closed in several parts.
- Hedge mode works: a long and a short on the same coin stay separate trades.
- Open positions with unrealized PnL, refreshed every few seconds.
How to connect Binance
Open API Management
In your Binance account go to Account → API Management and create a System generated key.
Set permissions
Keep Enable Reading and turn on Enable Futures — Binance returns futures history only with it. Leave withdrawals and transfers off.
Copy the key
Copy the API Key and the Secret Key. Binance shows the secret only once.
Paste it into CheckMyProfit
Create an account, open API Keys → Binance, paste both values and press Connect. The history loads in the background.
What you get in the journal
- Every trade on a candlestick chart with entry and exit markers
- Win rate, profit factor and breakdowns by coin, weekday and hour
- Profit calendar and equity curve
- Notes, tags and screenshots for each trade
- A Telegram message when a trade closes
Good to know
- Binance does not return leverage for closed trades, so the leverage column shows “—”.
- Some older trades may come without entry or exit prices (delisted contracts, for example). Their PnL is still exact.
- The Enable Futures permission technically allows trading. CheckMyProfit only reads data and never places orders.
- A large first sync can take a few minutes: requests to Binance are paced to stay within its rate limits.
- Only USDT-M futures are imported. Spot, margin and COIN-M trades are not — you can add them from a CSV file.
Questions about Binance
Is it safe to connect Binance?
The key needs no withdrawal permission, so funds cannot be withdrawn with it. Binance requires Enable Futures to return futures history; CheckMyProfit only reads data and never places orders. Keys are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
Will my PnL match Binance?
Yes. The result of each trade is built from Binance’s own income records — realized PnL, trading fees, funding and liquidation fees — so the totals match your account, not an estimate from prices.
How far back does the history go?
About one year on the first connection. After that new trades are added automatically.
Does it work with hedge mode?
Yes. Long and short positions on the same coin are split by position side and shown as separate trades.
Why do some trades have no entry price?
Binance did not return the fills for that trade — it happens with delisted contracts. The PnL of such a trade is still correct.
